For years I was floating without having specific life goals. Although I was very successful, I still felt that I hadn’t exploited my whole potential. I thought that I was an opportunist, but actually I was a man without a plan. I had nothing more than succeed climbing the corporate ladder. All that changed after I’d developed my life goals. That was an evolving process and not just a one time brainstorming. These goals are still on my desk, reviewed once in a while. I wrote them down to follow up and visit them frequently to focus my mind like a laser beam. What about you? Do you have your own set of goals? Do you know where you want to go? Do you know in what way? How’s that related to anti-aging? That’s obvious. Your health should be part of your goals. The same is about your wealth and your relationship with your partner, family, and friends. Personally, I have 6 life goals: wealth, soul mate, family, personality, health and social life. You can have more or you can have less. It doesn’t matter. Just decide what your major goals in your most important areas of your life are. For instance, I believe that anyone needs at least 4 goals: wealth, health, spirituality, and relationships. The order and priorities are a very personal issue. So don’t wait and define your life goals right away. The most successful people in the world have well defined goals and they stick to them and don’t change them too often when they face difficulties. Your goals are the consequences of your core values. Therefore, don’t change them frequently. Your goals can take you to what ever you want in life. But you need to write them down to get there. Many books were written about this mysterious phenomenon. Moving your goals from your head to a paper will have a huge impact on your life. Writing your goals is very different from having goals in your mind. The power of the written word is enormous, especially if you review your written goals frequently. For health and fitness, I recommend that you define your goals as “body fat percentage”. This gauge reflects your fitness, health, appearance, and perceived personality (yes! How determined, decisive, and active you are). Body fat percentage is the key for body transformation through change in body composition.
