Autosuggestion lets you control the way you feed your subconscious mind. You can drive creative, positive powerful thoughts that land in your subconscious mind and direct your life toward enormous success. By repeating reading your goals you “suggest” them to your subconscious mind until they will become your new reality. But reading the words loudly is not enough unless you mix them with feelings and emotions. Napoleon Hill wrote in many of his books that this fact is the most important and the reason why people who apply autosuggestion get no desirable results. “Plain, unemotional words do not influence the subconscious mind. You will get no appreciable results until you learn to reach your subconscious mind with thoughts, or spoken words which have been well emotionalized with belief”. Don’t be discouraged if you can’t control and direct your emotions the first time you do so. There is no such thing as something for nothing. You cannot cheat, even if you desire to do so.
