Guard your thinking

By: Roderick Armstrong

Listen and pay attention very carefully. I want to make a promise to you. If you follow these instructions to the letter, I assure you that you will experience dramatic change in your life in a relatively short period of time. I'm totally serious. I'm not a psychologist or even an expert on how the mind works. I don't even pretend to be. I'm just a regular guy who knows how my mind works. And I suspect that my mind isn't all that different from yours.

I recommend that you immerse yourself in a very rich education for your mind. This is crucial to your development and ability to achieve your goals whether they be starting a home-based business, MLM organization or whatever. Don't build up obstacles in your mind. See opportunities, not obstacles. Napoleon Hill once said that "with every problem comes the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit." That is so true. Feed your mind very carefully as if it were a fragile flower.

I can not express to you just how critical it is to guard your mind very carefully. We already receive enough negative inputs on a daily basis without generating and meditating on our own negative thoughts. Your mind is fertile ground. You have to tend it like a loving gardener who is planting seedlings. It is going to return whatever you plant in it.

Here are some of the best books that I can recommend you add to your collection: 1. The Bible. Good mind food even if you're not a believer. 2. Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. A timeless classic. 3. Power of Positive Thinking by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale. An absolute must. 4. The Success System that Never Fails by W. Clement Stone.

This is not all inclusive. I don't have time to list all of the classics that you would benefit from. However, these are very good starting points for you.

2 I want you to know that you must treat your mind like a sensitive flower. It will believe and act upon any suggestion that you believe. You are driven by the hidden forces of your mind whether you realize it or not. Try these disciplines for yourself...I KNOW they work. Every time.

If you dare to believe then you are one of the blessed few. I encourage you to stay focused on your dreams and pay no attention to nay-sayers. Focus on what you want.
